Or even maybe make them NOT level up from those quests at all on top of it all, there's plenty of ways to get around the whole "too high to fight this guy" thing than just deleting it as an option that was up until I played this game semi-standard in most dungeon based rpg's. I would even say maybe having to pay them a bit extra to go do the dirty work would make more sense ya know? Where the trail of gold leads the adventurers follow. My friend and I are currently in the game where we have outlvled most of our people just doing random things to upgrade our town, and we have lots of skilled adventurers who are currently being locked out of new lvl 3 quests because they can't go and finish a couple silly low lvl bosses to unlock the high quests for new areas, and if it is just story that we would be unlocking them for, I don't think, at least for boss areas exclusively, that there should be a ceiling for the adventurers. blah blah blah" I also think that it's silly having your characters be to high a lvl and hear me out on this. While I agree that the game does in fact say "You will die, you will fail. So that logically means you need to face them when appropriate. Sometimes it is better to run.īecause yeah, as it is you cannot face lower level bosses with high level characters. It says it right at the beginning of the game man. When your characters are ready to go against the boss, go against the boss. The game is about going against incredible odds, not power leveling your characters.Įrm, so you are saying that it's bad to grind in order to have an easier time later and that it's better to keep leveling heroes and keep losing them in order to just get it right? If so then I demand a spot where I can send them to practise (mostly safely), otherwise it makes no ducking sense to fight against the RNG like that.
